Dealing and Coping with COVID-19 pandemic.
How I deal and cope up during COVID19?

We are all affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, most specially our bread and butter. Companies are obliged to close down temporarily to obey Government guidelines. Almost all of us were just stayed at home and waited for the assistance from our Government. How did I cope during this pandemic?

Due to COVID-19 pandemic, President Rodrigo Duterte announced a total lock down in March 15, 2020. This forbids us to leave our home without the quarantine pass. Wearing a face mask and shield are also a must. The only positive thing that has happened to me during this pandemic is being with my family for months. Imagine that I am working in the office for almost 8 years and I only have limited time with them since then. I was grateful because our company assisted us throughout the lock down with the ex-gratia they provided us. While waiting for the announcement if we will be having a work home set up I started looking for a home-based job just in case that our company will not approve working from home. I started applying on Upwork and Onlinejobs.ph because I was aiming to get a part-time job only. However, no one replied to my application. I’m thankful to my friend who invited me in Filipino Virtual Assistant Facebook page. It was a Sunday afternoon when a notification pop out in my Facebook. These are the two owners in that FB page having a Facebook live. They are working with their laptops while enjoying the view in a resort with their two kids. My heart says that’s your ideal job so I have chatted two people who enrolled in one of the courses. After a few days I enrolled Freelancing course. It is now in my three weeks lesson in this course and I would say that this helps me to cope up and deal with COVID – 19 pandemic. Some of the lessons are not easy, but I enjoyed each video lessons. Every lesson are new to me and always excites me. After each lessons, a Portfolio needs to be submitted to your chosen coach. I’m proud that I was able to create my own website. If you would like to enroll in one of their courses, you may want to check my website which I included Filipino Virtual Assistant's website at the bottom of my homepage.
